NIMBY snowflake gatekeeping his self-proclaimed eminent domain - assuming that's a public street. The way he repeats the line makes me think he's been cooking that one in his head for ages. FAFO.
I wish him a festive Finding Out.
School felt effortless. All that structured work hid the chaos. Then after school I started to feel what I call the Glass Cage. All the normal intellect is there to achieve great things, but you are constantly hitting invisible obstacles that derail you. 20 years of it before diagnosis left some very deep scars.
Every accusation is an admission. Every warning is a veiled threat. It's them. They are the terrorists. Fear is their MO.
The charges were for "espionage" but I'm sure the show's filming added to the authorities' paranoia. Rezaian served nearly 2 years.
Yep, you can see some of the stamens disappear as it expands open
"All our candidates...on the field...to 'explain' this to people...to fix this mess"I know spineless doublespeak when I hear it. This is certainly a threat. Do not flinch, America.
She's clearly masking
Anyone who practices wing chun would know she's already going all out in the first part. Girl knows kung fu.
Humanity can't wait around for people like Aldi Bono here to give up their vast wealth. No more pissweak trickles. Break the dams.

"You're easy to talk to, that's nice"That's literally all she wanted and it's not my assumption because I already did the work in my life to find out. Something the character showed he hadn't done enough of - which is exactly the punchline of the comic. Glad to see you understand :)
Late reply but hope it will clarify. We can't be all-knowing as we go through life, so therefore his experiences are limited to himself. His premise that girls (type) are all the same (stereo) is used as the conclusion that she doesn't fit his stereotype (his personal experiences of girls). Her retort of just being human reveals her individuality, which proves he made a fool of himself initiating with an assumption (the stereotype) instead of just getting to know her (and hooking up!)
Our brains simply cannot reconstruct time effectively, so the task of cleaning your room is given the same stress equivalence as writing a phd thesis - or vice versa where a big task is incorrectly assumed to be short and simple. Help our time blindness by helping us "see" what the task really looks like.
That lid design looks like a Zojirushi, if so he's 100% right it will keep his soup at a nice surface-of-the-sun temperature all day.

Shove a bunch of bones and cheap meat cuts / offal in a large stock pot with cheap veg. Makes the perfect base for noodle broth, stew, soup, pasta sauces etc.
Agreed, it's a very fitting take on a zombie apocalypse. The grocery store restock scene was *chef kiss*
It's like an "im a PC" ad that never got aired

The answer is in the last panel. The guy initiates using guy/girl stereotypes implying she doesn't fit the stereotype - a reductive attitude because it isolates her from part of her own identity. In the final panel the girl calls out the truth of the situation - they are both just people, showing he could have started out with that thought in the first place.
There will always be assholes ruining the fun. Just know that it's the people you stood up for that will remember you. They're the ones that you can make a thriving community with.
All progress begins with the truth! Keep learning more about your Self and what really matters to you. It's easy to feel trapped as the prisoner, but understand you are also the warden holding the keys.
Not a bad trait really. Grassroots enthusiasm vs. brute force promotion. Once a unique creative idea becomes exploited it loses some the qualities of what it originally represented - usually because the newfound attention reverberates back onto the ongoing creative process.
The movie succeeds in telling a universal truth about self-actualisation without ramming metaphors down the viewers throat. The allegory is there but it leaves room for people to find their own meaning which is the essence of artistic expression. That same interpretive leeway also explains the inevitable extreme misinterpretations she must ignore.
