Fun fact, the director wanted it to be as realistic as possible (because why not, didn't you watch the rest of the movie lol), so they actually crashed a hollow boat into a real island for the footage at the end

I wonder if you could argue that you purchased the movie and not the physical media. I'm no lawyer and not trying to make a bad faith argument, just curious if that would be at all a viable argument
It's original to them, but it's not how it was originally filmed. I guess it depends how you want to think about it. It's all semantics anyway and not worth arguing over.
Curious about the hypothetical legality of torrenting movies if you have previously purchased them. Also how purchasing the video through a streaming service like Amazon would work into the already convoluted grey area since you paid for it, and the movie makes royalties, but you don't technically own it.
I mean, if his mouth is saying taco bell, I'd say that was the original. I'd agree with the phrasing that "it's always been that way", but it's clearly not the original if it's been changed

I guess that's fair, but I bought this movie on Amazon like 10+ years ago and now they change what I purchased? Not surprised, but annoyed. Another reason to surf the high seas for movies.
It affects the movie in like zero way, shape, or form but I'm like unreasonably pissed about it.
