It’s probably safe to assume I like cats.

#4 gave me motion sickness. I am in my bed.

I just hit my…whatever a cake day is on MFP! Rice cake day? I’ve been done trying to lose weight for a while, but I think the macro / calorie tracking is why!

Congrats @op! Keep going!

Our other dog is way more typical - she wants meat, cheese, eggs, peanut butter… Rocky also likes those things but not the way he loves fruit 🤷

My unaffiliated retired Navy Grandpa loved WWF and assumed this would be more fun for his granddaughters 😂

My favorite was Black Widow. She looked kinda like Elvira. Her verse *still* gets stuck in my head. It was something like “hop on in, I’ll take you for a ride; instead of pumping gas you’ll be pumping cyanide.”

Yep. February 12, 1909. The date was chosen to coincide with the birthday of President Abraham Lincoln.

Apparently. I think it works like how if you show your ass at the barbecue, you don’t get invited to the next barbecue.

Growing up, we had a cat who would pull corn cobs out of the compost and make the om-nom sound while he chewed on them

They are afraid of LOSING the power and access*

I accidentally a word.

I think they are afraid of the power and access that there elected positions give them. Kind of “go along to get along” except it’s “go along to get a lot of perks and stay on the conservative public speaking rota / book publishing list after I retire from public office.”

I’m sure she’s also a fascinating / interesting / cool person. We can all go out!

It depends on why you need support. Young and strong, but broke your ankle or had surgery on a lower extremity? Rollator!
Elderly and just have general bilateral limb weakness / fall risk? Walker.

The haircut was called “the Rachel” and it seemed like somewhere around 80% of white women & girls over 12 had it through the mid-90s. In the gif, all 3 ladies actually have it at different stages of growing out 😂

Neighbors: “Why do you have a tent set up in your yard?”

Me: “Because it’s new and I don’t want to look dumb setting up at the campsite. And I want to know all the pieces are there. And be sure I know how to put it away. Also VOCs - I don’t want it to smell like plastic.”

Them: “Oh! When are you all going camping?”

Me: “Sometime. Later. Probably.” 😅

We have a solar shower that we take camping for washing dishes. The big pot that you cook in makes an excellent dish bin and allows the pot to soak a little.

Find out what happened and with whom. All my teen girl spur-of-the-moment hair decisions were based on boy drama or friend drama. (And one time, Jennifer Aniston, but that was the exception)

Please just remember this when we need a new wave of Allies to stop whatever the American Axis turns out to be. 😭

And she was always a democrat, just strongly pro life (including being against the death penalty.)

I don’t know, exactly - I was out of the house at 17, and it was another maybe 15 years before we talked much about it. I *think* it had to do with her having had 3 miscarriages (2 when I was a young teen and one when I was 20) and knowing the kind of care she needed, then hearing her church friends say some pretty horrible and tone deaf things, seeing how they treated people vs. what they claimed philosophically. She was never dumb, I think she just believed in some people a little too much.

Sorry - you’re right. They rose from 73-89, and dropped since then.
