If 2-300K politically active CA/NY/TX/FL residents moved to OK and voted Dem, they could swing the off-cycle elections. That could be enough to move the needle for presidential elections there in 4-8 years with no impact on the path of the states they left. The ~60% Trump wins in WY/MT/SD/ND amount to just over 100K votes in each of those states. Anyone willing to move to Oklahoma or the Dakotas to save democracy? A million costal dwellers moving inland could shift 19+ electoral college votes.
