The joke of it is that an employer doesn't pay taxes on the money they pay to employees. Payroll is entirely deductible.

They don't pay taxes on the money they pay their employees. That's 100% deductible. The only millionaires that will be affected by taxation are the ones that **aren't** employing us.

It pisses me off to no end that this doesn't loop.

Our Texas killer had that choice taken from him, forcibly, in less than 2 seconds.

He didn't kill anyone with a machete because he chose not to. He could have just as easily chosen to hack apart his victims.

It's not punishment. It's ending the attack on the defender's terms, not the attackers. In NY, he was allowed to choose when to stop.

Attacker stopped in 2 seconds, vs attacker stopped... when he decided to stop. Attacker left on the floor, vs attacker left in his car.

Thank you for proving my point.

With guns, it would have turned out the same way. Without guns, he would have killed and maimed more people.

Great. Now what if the asshole pulled out a machete instead of a shotgun?

Remember Aurora? Remember Las Vegas? How many would have died if they had been stopped in 5 seconds?

He killed 2 people in less than 5 seconds. How many people would have died had they waited 5 minutes for police to respond?

That guy is a moron. **All** of the armed responders were members of the church's security team. The guy who shot was the head of that team

The "gun toting randos" were *all* members of the church's security team.

4th from the left is the one who stopped the attack. Watch the video. Excellent shot.

What are you talking about? 4th from the left is the one who ended the attack, with a spectacular shot.

They wouldn't mix drywall and rock lathe. The left side is rock lathe for this room, the right is rock lathe for the adjoining room.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

No. They are both rock lathe. The stuff on right is the back side; it is the substrate for plaster in the adjoining room.

No taping involved. This is plastered as-is. The plaster "keys" into the gaps between the panels.

This isn't drywall. This is "rock lathe", commonly used in the 1930s-1950s. This was plastered, just like wooden lathe of the 1920s.

The license was initially issued in 2006, and renewed in 2013. He probably moved sometime in the last 4 years.

No, GMRS is line-of-sight. Tens of miles, not thousands.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

GMRS is in the 460MHz band, not shortwave. The guy's license was last renewed in 2013. He's either moved, or he's visiting New York.

This is **exactly** the same skill as counting out change without a calculator or subtracting.
