I think I understand what you mean. However there is a difference between direct force vs. necessity caused by circumstance.
The wisdom to realize that I’m basically “banging my head against a wall” & discontinuing to do so, isn’t what you’ve described.
I don’t “feel bullied”. Feelings are completely irrelevant. I’m pointing to the intent of your actions.
