So that you can then become the bitch?

And yes it's still theft.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

But it's a preferable option to income tax.

Don't like sales tax as much as VAT purely because a sales tax hits everything including produce, which fucks with poor people.

Are you looking for a "gotcha" moment or to actually understand? I have very clearly been referring to VATs

You can choose to only buy raw goods. You cannot choose to not pay income tax.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Explain how? A value added tax is a tax only on goods that have been processed in some way. Raw ones aren't taxed.

Instead of as they are currently where ~3 hours of every workday is done, quite literally, for the government.

Raw ingredients to make it yourself. Your tax rate is completely dependant on you and your choices.

Not saying it's easy, just that its an option. You could buy the spaghetti in the freezer section and pay a premium for it, or the

Any value added ones, yes. You could live on your own plot of land, build a house by hand, farm, sell excess, and never pay taxes.

The US government was funded entirely by sales tax ( 40-70% of the revenue came from alcohol sales) until prohibition when they swapped.

Can't talk for that guy, but yes. VAT means those who consume more in society are taxed more, regardless of income.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yes. It's mine.

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

The first one is obviously theft. At what point is the theft so diluted it becomes taxes?

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

What if it was 1000 people who voted? What if, when they voted, they also voted to let you use the car on Sunday afternoons?

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

What if 9 people came to you, said "as a group of 10, you included, we voted and it was 9-1 for us taking your car" is that theft?

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

If one person comes to you, says "I'm taking your car", is that theft? What if 10 people came to you and said "we're taking your car"?

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Yeah but since I can vote it doesn't.
