The closer tower in this picture is the G-Turm (Gefechtsturm = Combat Tower). You can tell from the half-circular platforms where additonal AA guns used to be placed (The larger Flak guns used to sit on the top of the tower). The small tower on the right is the L-Turm (Leitturm = Command Tower). In many places, only the G-Turm remains, since the smaller L-Towers were demolished after the war.
There's a what looks like a propane tank visible on the right
The name "Maultaschen" originating from the Maulbroon Monastary is an apocryphal story created in 20th century and unlikely to be true.

Why is there a dot in the middle of the screen when it always points at the back of the character's head? The camera should be offset in 3rd person.

Depends on where you live. Some places are very dusty, so even on normal roads it will happen. Also, it can be used to de-ice them.
they're mainly to clean the headlights, not to remove rain. Look closely, nearly all of these have cleaning fluid spraying at the same time.
