While I agree that Holmes likely intentionally misled people, I see your point in the fix-it-in-post attitude. The James Webb Space Telescope got the green light before the technology to make it even existed, with expectation that the tech would likely be invented by the time it was to be finished. JWST was like a decade late and billions over budget, but I guess it got there in the end. It worked out this one time lol.

Had a used 2000 Volvo V40 wagon in college that had built-in booster seats similar to this, but less features.

Not sure if it'll solve your problem but replacing the Thinkpad keyboard takes about 30 seconds. Super easy to repair.

There’s a good video of a Virgin Atlantic 747 landing safely with an entire set of wheels failing to extend. 3 out of 4 sets were enough.

And this doesn't mean I don't support MFA/universal healthcare. This is a means to an end right now because I can't afford to be uninsured.

I paid nearly 400 bucks. 2021 American Rescue Plan Act dropped it by 150 bucks. Still a lot, but less. Check again if you haven't recently.

I believe USPS actually has a few horses to deliver mail at/around the Grand Canyon. Apparently the only way to get there.

Kinda related: Anyone in the Connecticut area should check out the old Rhinebeck Aerodrome. Working, flying WW1 aircraft. Absolutely nuts.

2nd shot for me made me feel a little sick for a day. Better than being killed to death tho. By far.

Lennox makes a few jigsaw blades that work on both push/pull strokes. Works well in the Leatherman surge. Check out txtoolcrib on youtube.
