Hi guys. After several years of lurking, I finally made an account.
Used to work lawn care over the summers. Trying to decide if this is hot
All things considered, life's going well but the happiest I've been in weeks might've been during a dream I had the other night. Booze helps

The last few weeks have been some of the toughest I've ever had. This was a rough read, but I needed it.

It's actually incredible. It's gotten hard to distinguish what I would think is bad satire from reality.
This is why existentialism and absurdism are at least preferable to existential nihilism.
Real happiness as anything beyond an emotion of gratification is incoherent in existential nihilism. Delightful stuff.
That depends on what you mean. I would consider familiarizing yourself with Aristotelian-Thomistic ethics before trying to debate them.
The philosophies I'm referring to can be and often are applied to homosexual acts. The underlying principles can be applied throughout life.
I think the philosophy is totally compatible with "facts and logic."
Any Thomistic work on sexual ethics.
As a male friend, it's not conscious and we mean no disrespect. A woman is an incredible thing, and the female form is beautiful.
In all seriousness, "baptism of desire" has been historically recognized by the Church.
John 3:5 seems to indicate that it's at least necessary.

I took it as more of an influence than a determination. Men and women are equal but not the same.
The word would still fit. Certainly not everyone, but far more than get acknowledged have rational reasons for their disagreement.
