Night audit is the night shift front desk person. Usually your night will consist of checking in the last few guests, auditing the financial documents at the end of the night, potentially sending certain reports to upper managers, and rolling the day to the next day.
Poor baby. I've got a cat that was attacked outside as a kitten and had a leg amputated. Yes, her name is Yardstick. She was so terrified after we moved she wouldn't leave the bedroom and would hide under the covers all day. She's good now, but it was a rough start in the new place. Got some calming spray which helped a lot.
Back when I was a server there was an old couple that would come in every day for lunch and got the salad bar. Most of the servers didn't want to wait on them cause they only ever tipped $1, so I always took them. They weren't married, she was his best friend's wife. After his friend died he started taking care of her. She was on a walker, I'd help him get her plates once he started using a cane. The first day she came in by herself I cried.
Did I ever tell you how I got these scars?

The burnout is real. Either take 1 month off and do nothing, or take a low impact/part time job for 3 months. You will feel better.
