Given NYT latest debacle, I wouldn’t suggest anyone use them anymore.
What’s the point of posting this?
Just because they are peaceful doesn’t mean they can ignore dispersal orders.
Was he ordered to leave? Was he breaking a curfew? If the answer is yes to either, you don’t gain immunity simply because ur interviewed.
Trying to make this about Trump is a tragedy in and of itself.
You find their policy and see if the restraint (leg in neck) is allowed. If it is, we may have a problem.
Cops have been fighting that generalization for decades, now its inconvenient?

Every cop I know agrees and are damn near First Amendment purists...it’s when the rioting/looting starts that we have a problem.
