If you post this and it gets to the front page, then you get nothing! Good day sir!
As if you have some kind of high moral ground? Your own posts and comments support Hamas, the Houthis and everyone else who choose to damn the Palestinians to unimaginable suffering. Entire generations thrown to the flames by zealots who steal from their own people, and you cheer them on so that you can feel superior, ignore any attempt to build a better future, and indulge in this self-righteous wankery. I pity you.

Claiming that jews have no ties to palestine/the levant is an outright conspiracy theory, and OP is peddling blatant antisemitism. This culture war bullshit only makes the conflict worse. The only way that things will ever get better is if both Palestinians and Israelis acknowledge that both groups are indigenous it the land. One group exiled and returning, one having remained throughout the centuries. The continual wars, and the suffering, is a direct consequence of refusing this truth.
Genetic markers between jews and palestinians are well established, see Wikipedia for better data.Israeli cuisine is a natural result of being embedded in other nations for 2000 years. The Book of Jewish Food (claudia rosen) is a great read about this. Modern Hebrew doesn't sound like ancient hebrew because it was almost dead in the 21st century, and had to be actively revived (similar to maori)Schlomo Sand has some good points, but he still supports Israel's right to exist.
This is from the person who did the study. The discrepancy is a miscalculation, the study was never about examining population amounts, and the sites repeating this headline are willfully spreading misinformation.
I emailed the study author and received the response below. TLDR please read studies, check sources and/or confirm with the author before spreading false information.
I can't find that number of 377,000 anywhere in the study linked by the above article. Can someone point me towards where that figure is determined? The study itself just seems to be an analysis of the 5 aid distribution points and how they aren't designed to be safe spots to receive aid.
Like genociding the armenians. Great guys, those ottomans.
Please read through https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jews_as_the_chosen_people , it's very clear that chosen is not in any way a declaration of superiority. Try talking to Jews about the subject instead of those who want to demonize them.
Behind your sarcasm is a desperately sad person trying to seek validation on the internet.
If Gnostics or Satanists want to call themselves the 'Devil's chosen people' then I don't give a shit, but jewish religion doesn't really have a Satan or Devil like christianity or islam does, so all you're doing is using another anti-semitic canard and pretending to somehow be intelligent. Your argument is bad and you should feel bad.
I think you should be ashamed of taking three consecutive comments to say nothing relevant to this post or my comment.
I doubt you're arguing in good faith, but i'll bite. I'm very well aware that there are jews who think they're superior, and those guys are assholes who nobody else likes. Chosen is not the same as being exalted or elevated. If your landlord chooses that you're the one who has to put out the recycling on mondays, that doesn't mean you're somehow better than the rest of the tenants. It doesn't mean that the other tenants don't have their own duties they've been chosen for.
Incredible, just blatant antisemitism without any dogwhistles. How refreshing.Comparing nazi ideology to the people they exterminated is sick, and everyone upvoting this post should be ashamed of themselves.
Yes. Hamas executes dissidents all the time. Where do those bodies end up buried?Seems reasonable for them to bury those murdered victims and then blame it on IDF troops.
Holy mother of poorly-disguised canards, this is a stretch. Every country does this to America; people of nationality X lobby for their country X by telling elected officials that the US would benefit if it did something good for country X. The US doesn't do it for free; The whole point is that they get something they want in exchange for something that country X wants. Implying that a jewish org is somehow a mafia because they lobby for their interests is pretty fucking sad.
I understand that the extreme discrepancy is alarming, but it's also prudent to remember that the 30K number is provided by the health ministry run by Hamas, and this figure intentionally does not declare how many of those casualties are armed combatants. Furthermore, Gaza is a heavily fortified urban stronghold where none of the Hamas fighters are uniformed. All of these decisions have been made by Hamas with the intention of making it difficult for Israel to spare innocents.
War is not a game where you try to make sure you both kill the same amount. The fundamental goal of *most* wars is about trying to break the ability of your enemy, whether that is their will, their military, or their industry.I think the Palestinian death toll is tragic, and there is no excuse for the intentional killing of civilians. But there is also significant evidence that Hamas intentionally acts to put Palestinians in harms way, which causes casualties that they can then exploit.
Thank you for your comment, I'll try to address all your points. The convention definition of Genocide is an excellent starting point. I also point to this in discussions because it is clarifies that intent to destroy the 'group' is a fundamental requirement. You've next mentioned that there is a large discrepancy in the deaths of Palestinians and Israelis, and stated that this means that Israel is indiscriminately killing Palestinians.
OP has posted a shitty photoshop - someone elses comment has the actual snake, which looks much better. Please do your part and downvote fake content.
There's plenty of accurate descriptors of what is happening in Palestine that is up for legitimate debate; Ethnic cleansing, apartheid, systematic discrimination and even colonization have their arguments, but calling it a genocide is a disservice to the Palestinians and an insult to those who have actually witnessed or suffered an actual genocide. It weakens the legitimate accusations against Israel through being so easily disprovable.
The rwandan genocide had a million Tutsis dead in 3 months, with AK47s and machetes. The Armenian genocide killed 1-2 million back during WW1. And the Holocaust killed 6 million jews + 5 million non-jews in 6 years.Israel is the strongest military in the ME, with the backing of the world's greatest superpower, and has had an overwhelming power advantage over the Palestinians for the last 70+ years. If Israel is really trying to genocide the Palestinians why is it taking so long?
Right on my dude(tte)! There's a forbes 500 list for chrissakes, it's not hard to find out who might have the money and the will to make more money!
I'm gonna disagree with the other responder. Hamas absolutely targeted civilians, and committed horrendously vicious rape and torture against Israeli civilians. A significant proportion of Gazans supported them in that effort. No serious advocate for peace should be justifying or ignoring that fact. I'll mention that there's no justification for genocide either, but I don't believe that Israel is committing genocide. PM or respond if you want a fuller explanation.
It takes two to make peace. How exactly does Israel begin the peace process if Hamas is free to destabilize that process at any moment? How can Israel get any sort of security guarantee when a party to the conflict actively declares they will commit another massacre at every opportunity?
