Stuff and things.

0600 - 1800, in theory. We'll see if I get any OT gifts today.

God jul! I'm a paramedic in Canada. I'm lucky to have a family that's flexible and works around my schedule when possible. It allows me to do this job I love and still feel like a part of my family.

Probably the only part of the movie that can rival the sadness of watching Artax sinking the swamp ...

I think I'm at 5 or 6 boosters, now I just get them with my flu vaccine.

When I had COVID, it was an annoying inconvenience for 2-3 days. However, when I gave it to my wife, it fucked her up for 2+ weeks, and she's still getting over long COVID complications nearly 2 years later.

I never want to be responsible for doing that to her again. I'll happily vaccinate every single year to protect her, to say nothing of my responsibility to my community in general.

That's understandable, but anyone who's ever heard a Michiganer talk, especially a yooper, would figure it out fast. I used to live in Sarnia and spent a fair bit of time collecting ticks in Michigan.

I'm sorry OP, that sucks. Also, don't let anyone tell you Fibro isn't real. Just because it doesn't show up on imaging doesn't mean it's not a very real problem that can be dealt with.

That's super neat. I remember seeing a violin a sailor made with match sticks in their spare time. He'd use his shore leave time to go to music shops and take measurements and ask for advice. After several months (years?), he had made a perfectly functional 1/1 scale violin entirely out of match sticks.

I just saw the post saying use the tag petshow, I initially thought there was supposed to be a year I'm there somewhere.

He's also a bad orange ... or maybe more of a tangerine?

Don't know why I didn't try that sooner.

When I used to work at an airport I called it "right of weight".

I don't get the context.

Even from a woodworking perspective they're still kind of weird.

There are weird competitions where people try to get the thinnest and longest shaving from a hand plane.

Well yea, after you fold it that much do you expect it to have any carbon left?

Napalm could have been a nice touch too.

/2 "He is, as he likely prefers to be labelled, an African in America." Holy fucking shit ...

/1 "An African, for example, may have lived, worked, and even been classed as a citizen in America for centuries, yet he is not American."

It's called an agent provocateur, it's a common tactic to break up an otherwise peaceful assembly. We've even allegedly done it in Canada.

I'd be satisfied with a catastrophic stroke that leaves him an abandoned derelict in a LTC.

I don't do patches, but your choice of blade/hilt pattern is aesthetically pleasing to me.

Now let's hope that it bottle conditions right.

Edit: I was wrong. It turned out tasting appropriately kölsch-y, sort of medium amber colour and clocking in at ~4.9%.
