None of y'all motherfuckers need to know shit about me. GDPR my fuckin LIFE
I can't begin to fathom the silent rage my espresso machine contains
The ol' mummy tummy
That's why it's so important. We've already lost generations
You gotta survive. Somehow you have to survive. We can't lose a whole generation of trans men and women.
He's spent his whole life being out for himself, he can't even fathom the idea that anyone, let alone whole countries would benefit from togetherness.
Certainly not MISS Piggy - she's got standards through the roof
You're gonna get that anyway, people suck. What we don't have to do is tell people that they have to go it alone and shouldn't depend on anyone and that their ultimate success means never asking for help or giving it.
This is -in my personal opinion- the direct result of prioritizing individualism over community and collectivism for over a century. We live in a society that asks "what about ME" first and foremost. I see it in the lack of public transit and the prioritization of cars, I see it in the rage over wearing masks to protect strangers, I see it in the confusion over why young people don't move out sooner, I see it in the growing social irritation with children simply existing in public spaces.
There is actually a very true story that lends this little some absolute truth - in the 1400s England there's a record of a woman who was imprisoned, an innkeeper, she had been fermenting her beer with chicken poo - which sped the process considerably, faster than her competitors, and... gave her patrons food poisoning. She was arrested, and a new law against putting chicken shit in your beer was created. All true - and something I always remember. Bureaucracy and regulations started LONG ago.
For my money I'm willing to bet it was just old habits/ sloppy playing. Which - like guys, c'mon, it's the Olympics, tighten it up.
Oh the man has always been a thin skinned little bitch he's just too old and senile to hide it. He's twice as narcissistic as Mussolini and a fifth as smart
I am - for the first time in a long time - hopeful. Not... "problem solved!" hopeful, but cautiously optimistic that we can survive this upheaval. Now we just need to keep Alberta from shooting itself in the foot long enough to see real economic change.
Not to argue your point (sadly I agree) but there's a question in there about when it stops being 'eye witness testimony' and starts being 'common knowledge' or simply public awareness. Do you think if 1000 people witness a bomb go off in a neighbourhood you still need paperwork to prove it happened?
It would be the most mind bending realization that every accusation REALLY IS a literal confession, no matter how wild the claim. And if that's true, I think the church has to explain all the witchcraft and sleeping with Satan they've been doing.
Pregnant people puke all the time. If this story isn't true - it's as plausible as anything else happening on a public bus. When I was pregnant I threw up in a trashcan seconds after a nurse asked me "what are you here for? - Oh."
I wouldn't be too worried. Carney is smart, he's not my favourite person, but he's smart enough to know how to use words to buy time, keep the peace until we're in a more secure position. He knows anything to do with Trump is not the sane long term play. From a diplomacy standpoint, anything he says about Trump's plans is a big "sure thing buddy - whatever you say" line while he makes plans elsewhere.
Mine just learned the word "fart" (shes 1.5) and now we are treated to announcements every time she does one. "FART!" She's the best.
I fucken love 'em.
Like mom always said "when it feels like the whole world is against you, maybe it's you"
It also takes WORK. Real happiness looks far more like contentment than daily ecstasy and it requires working through your own programming and ditching what was given to you before you were old enough to know better. It's work most people don't have time for while they slave away for the system :(
They're not weak - they're human and healthy humans aren't driven to violence as easily as these fuckwits. Resistance is about more than just hitting cops with bricks, it's about living to fight another day, to doxx fuckers like that ^ Not just attack them in the street. All the greatest heroes from WWII were the ones who stayed behind and forged paperwork, who lied to cops and hid people in their basements and yeah - it's not flashy, but it's not weak either.
There's always hope for better. And individually we can all DO better. We can be better friends, better cooks, better musicians, better artists, better neighbours. We can grow and change and learn and THAT is what makes the world better, one little bit at a time.
No, of course not - but remember that Trump is someone who literally doesn't know how anything works. Anything is possible when you don't know how anything functions.
You're just fighting with the wrong half of the bell curve. They think hurting people's feelings makes them smart and edgy when in fact any back woods dumbass can hurl an insult. You are more than the fight. And I mean the bigger fight. The social fight. Rise above and feel the sun on your face. You are more.
Such a great show. They make those poor people SUFFER. picking up your whole family after that should be easy
In fairness a lot of hardships CAN be overcome by the power of friendship. Feeling sad? Find comfort in community, dealing with ICE? kick ass with the community. Find some friends, whoop some fascists. Yayyyy, friends!
Strong girl; farm??
Ugh and it suuucks. Rumors about our "terrible universal healthcare" have been exaggerated, the telecom duopoly? Oh that's real. Real shitty.
We're all the bad guy in someone's story.
What they learned last time is that if there's a vaccine - blue states will take it and red states pay the price. This time they've got RFK to make sure there's no vaccine available.
