They might have been able up stay in the oven just a touch longer, but I can't eat egg so I didn't do an egg wash.
There's a lot of bakeries that are selling flour around here, see if anything near you is doing the same.
It was satisfying, and I enjoyed doing it. While the taste is basically the same as store bought, the sense of accomplishment is higher.
Lol, that's what makes it a quarantine speciality.
Honestly I need to share, I live alone with my dog, it's too much for one person.
After every other fold, my house is cold and everything stayed really cold.
They taste delicious, I definitely need to work to get a really defined lamination, but for my first ever, I'm happy with them!
The one I cut open was from some scrap dough, I wanted to see what they treated like while the actual ones were rising.
I realized that the proofing drawer in my oven is broken, so that was a fun Discovery this morning.

But for my introverted ass, having a socially aceptable reason to not talk to the driver, leave it at the door is amazing .
