I saw a butterfly. It was pretty. That is all.

So it really is true, good fences DO make good neighbors.

I'd rather him get 60k than Trump get 60+ million. THAT'S stupid americans

Magic bullet to fix that. Electoral college outdated, social conventions obliterated... more needs to happen than just that by a long way.

Ballot and making it weighted. 140-150 mill voted this election, for 330+million people total. Weighted ballots would help, but aren't a...

For one, most who don't vote tend to vote democratic when they do, which would be the party that would go to fix this. More participation..

Ballot receipts that can be submitted to govt for a tax incentive.

Voter participation is the first problem. Things stopping voter participation is second. That's a nice hill to die on I guess, buddy.

I feel like you're too wrapped up in your point to consider mine

You are also not going to convince me that a majority of Americans are going to research the issues that granularly. See current election.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Rank choice would be perverted away anyway, because of some of my previous systemic issue points. This is america, where$$talks and bs walks

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You are also assuming gerrymandering isn't a thing, the southern agenda isn't a thing, and the electoral college isn't broken. All $$ drive

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I think of the gerrymandering was not an issue, a number of other things wouldn't be at issue either.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Then why do we continue to see that anomaly? With equal funding, a third party can viably be on tickets at all. That is my point.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

See perot in the 80s. He had tons of funding and no ballot weight, and still took a substantial vote ( more than req. for party status.) $$

*funding. Current funding systems mean they can't.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Your source is interesting, but I don't really see it working with current system, even forced

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Which was my point. Fundamental representation of more than the parties super by government mandate would allow this system proposed.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I would argue that this system doesn't really accept a slow change or restructure with this, many ballots don't have more than two choices..

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That would imply that we have more than two valid choices to ordinate. So it isn't the first thing, more like fourth or fifth

Agreed. It looks like an illigitimate news site in the tab, not mail.
