Poor diet, lack of humidity, and lack of calcium (which I guess can fit under 'poor diet' if you want) make for pretty bad pyramiding.

Not 100% Tea Tree Oil, though, or it will likely give you a chemical burn! Dilute the pure TTO and use as a cleanser.
