So does the math work out right for Archer's claim that the NX-01 can go to Neptune and back in six minutes?

I loved it! Very different from SG1 or Atlantis but I grew to enjoy it after watching it a second time.

If you immediately know the candlelight is fire, then the meal was cooked a long time ago.

and then as he travelled up the river he gathered the men of Gondor who lived along the way until he arrived at Minas Tirith with an army (2

From what I remember Aragorn did get help from the Army of the Dead, but only to capture the bad guy ships. Aragorn then released them (1)

I'm pretty sure you're right. I also recently rewatched it and looked for this moment but I never saw Luke point the lightsaber at his face.

For the most part I liked the duels in the prequels, but then there are moments like this

She's thin but also very fit. I remember that she did some pretty intense training to prep for her appearance in Batman v. Superman.

He means the show was not canon to the main DC comic book universe. And the comics are generally considered the central canon for DC.

As someone from Ft Worth, I agree.

It's hard to overstate my satisfaction.

use the books as canon haha. So many years of books are bound to have random contradictions so I don't blame them for wanting to avoid that.

Vader's gloves ability to absorb blaster shots is also from the books, but both can be true. And people wonder why Disney didn't want to (1)

The logo's color is almost the same as the color of the costume. Though in different lighting in other pictures it is more visible.

It was a really big deal when it came out. Even people who didn't read comics had a passing familiarity with it. But that was a while ago.

Doesn't matter really. What bugs me more is how you can barely see it on his costume. Might just be the lighting though.

That's true.

Not what I'm saying. It's fine not to like it, but I've seen a lot of people who don't know it's from a comic which is surprising.

It surprises me to see people complain about his costume or logo without realizing that they're from that. I thought it was better known.

actually better than I was expecting. Obviously I still enjoy "classic Simpsons" more, but I think the newer stuff is pretty good too. (2)

I've actually been watching it a lot recently and thanks to FXNow having a random button I've seen a lot of newer episodes and they're (1)

Silmarillion but is short and not really complete while the Children of Hurin book is the full version that completely fleshes out the story

They are yeah. The Silmarillion is a collection of many stories while Children of Hurin is a single story. The Hurin story is in The (1)

A short version of the story was in the Silmarillion, but Children of Hurin goes into much more detail.
