If you're looking through the lens of geological time, then *all* species in the British isles are invaders. The last ice age only finished here 11,000 years ago, that's practically yesterday in geological time. Feel free to pick a particular date and say "This. This is the one perfect ecosystem", but a hundred years either side and it'll be a different mix of species. Ecosystems do not stand still.
Every time someone post some cable-porn of neatly routed cables, zip-tied together, all us working IT admins have to chime in and ask "ok, but what happens next month when I need to reroute one of those connections?"
Fuck that, god should apologise to me for the mess he left in here. There's a sewage pipeline going right through the middle of a recreational area ffs!
Lot of Americans here apparently not realising that cats are an indigenous species in the UK (and the rest of Europe, Africa, Asia, etc.)
Pretty sure that's London, so that's two indigenous species terrorising each other.
I think the problem many militaries will face is that the likes of Lockheed/BAE/McDonald Douglas/GE/etc. etc. just don't know how to make a cheap *anything*. The best they can manage is missiles at $$$$ a pop, when Ukraine can buy 50 armed drones for the same price and launch them from anywhere, without needing the $M aircraft/truck that the expensive missile requires.

Depends a lot on the jurisdiction, but the license plate might not be very long. The oldest road legal vehicle in the UK has the registration 'Y27' (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grenville_steam_carriage)
It's good news, but it involves surgery to inject custom DNA right into your brain, is bloody expensive, and only slows the progression, it doesn't cure it. One of my friends has recently been diagnosed, so fingers crossed this is available for them.

There's several companies hiring out these vans in the UK, so I'm pretty sure they're legal in at least some circumstances. As best I can tell it comes down to local regulations on advertising. It's not a criminal offence though.
Different writers have different processes. Some plan everything first and write multiple drafts. Some just sit down and bang out words, and maybe do an editing pass at the end.
He doesn't want to sleep near me, he wants to lie there while I pet him, and if I go to sleep, he'll get bored, go outside for an hour or so, then come back and meow at me until I wake up for more pets.
On a day with no wind I started practising doing this. Eventually I managed to turn completely turtle (ie mast pointing down), and then back upright, without even getting my feet wet.
It's a Laser, Toppers are more round at the front, and usually come in more interesting colours.
#1 My friend's dog saw a lake like this, tested it once with her paw, then tried walking on it and just disappeared straight under the water. She came back up pretty quick, and then soaked everyone when she shook off the water.
I *still* have a Bagpuss. Never tried cooking him though.

I was trying to work out if Mazda had ever made an RX-5, they hadn't, but there's a company making a Lotus 7 replica called the RX-5. That doesn't explain the maroon car though (It might be a Mercury? I'm not much cop with US cars)

The line between what's a 'drone' vs 'cruise missile' vs 'missile' is getting pretty blurry. The level of technology to make what used to be a state-of-the-art cruise missile, is practically hobbyist level now.
It's been so long since I last had coke, we were using CD cases to rack 'em up.
