Hollywood is pretty left leaning and there are SO many options in terms of studios and producers creating movies these days - even if she had to look mostly outside the US for work for a while, she would survive just fine. I've never had a primary care doctor screen either of my kids' vision here in Australia. The first they get their vision tested is the first year of school, unless you take them. My daughter has intermittent exotropia so she's been seeing an ophthalmologist since she was 1, but she has no vision impairment.

Not only does she most definitely know her father, she will probably remember his murder for the rest of her life.
