I was inspired by childhood virtual world stuff such as Tron and Reboot

It's more open world Metroidvania inspired actually :) But this can be a late/end game ability

We're doing things a little differently, with having more than one critical path but its difficult to explain here :)
Actually there's 5 endings in this one :) So once you get "TOTAL FREEDOM" you're actually free to do 75% more of the game if you want
Absolutely valid question. It's a Metroidvania though, so this kind of flying ability is definitely more of a late/end game thing
