I still hate it of course and hope it fails, 'cause it's a shitty precedent, but there is a logic there.
If memory servec, they lost maybe 200k subs and are losing estimated 2 million 3 months. If it works, they might be able to offset it.
It MIGHT be a workable strategy, if they can make even 5% of the alleged 200 milllion to pay for their service instead of sharing.

It's a reasonable mistake. There's a weird disconnect with, for example, what a public school means in the USA and UK.
Unions are by no means perfect. Still, I take it as a lesser evil.
A union's purpose is to advocate/uphold its members rights. There haven't been issues like that in Finland, but I admit they can exist.

But even if your employer doesn't refuse atm, can you trust them to do so indefinitely?
