I understand the notion, personally I grew up before filming anything quickly with a smartphone became intuitive. If something is filmed (no matter what type of pet it is) feels to me inherently 'staged'.Then again everything shared publically, is there to get attention. Without an advertisement or even a link to more content it doesn't feel malicious though.
Printing on heavy paper and they still feel nice, also good quality images are easy to get. Bonus: you get to spend a bit of time in front of youtube playing with scissors.
Oh, I meant a favorite folder on my account here, nothing hoarded or stashed away. 'Cutesies' I think its called.
Cute animal gifs have become more rare these days, I used to add so many to the folder. :/

The meme combines both "The Engima of Amigara Fault", a Horror Manga story about people finding a faultline that has a bunch of human shaped holes. People feel compelled to crawl into them, it's pretty horrific and this meme

True, pineapple is no wood but if that thing can bite through half a pineapple like that, it will take a big enough chunk out of anyone. Beside can you unhinge your jaw?

Not really. Advertisements are packed with boobs and women for decades now. That's also "pornification". It's not new. In most cases people only get offended, if the advertisement is a) honest about it or more likely b) it's not catered towards them.
There are probably very good books on the topic, not that I would know one. If anyone though is looking into media covering those specific question: Soma, by Frictional Games goes on with its plot on that premise, beyond where the TNG episode stops. It's not pleasant though.
