I'm so used to seeing people paint murals in kids rooms I was wondering what kind of fucked up parent this was.
The metaplot and world structure are pretty interesting but the way the main plot is structured each game is inimical to good storytelling.

I actually just replayed this last week on MCE. The graphical improvement was amazing and the gameplay still holds up. Those chain grenades.
That would be a good argument if the US were not one of the primary factors in their countries being so fucked up.
And ruining their economy and ecology with mines run by foreign corps which have the power to sue the country through trade agreements.
