It adds up, so even if theres no major spills and you believe theres nothing gross in frac water, the basic filth of industry WILL pollute

When a serious spill happens, something that requires extensive cleanup, lots of time and money, they are gonna turn a blind eye every time
They will write someone up every now and then over an oil spill. They will make sure people have clean up kits and stuff handy, BUT
And procedures falls to these environmental inspectors, company hires, sometimes they are a third party but the following still applies
Works for the gas company. The gas company has obligations to government departments, but making sure the contractors follow regulations
Natural gas lines, but heres the thing with oil lines, water lines or any major construction- youve got an emvironmental inspector that
I worked pipeline for about 4 years, and it took me about a month to learn not to drink the water anywhere we went
