Happy cripple living in the middle of no where, Scotland~ Likes vidya, crafting, RP and terrible attempts at writing
(live in the uk so can't use imgur much anymore, sorry for the delay!)
Oh hey, me too! Patch pals!
The Tiffany's company changed the name of Blue Zoisite to Tanzanite for marketability. Zoisite sounded a little too much like "suicide" and by it sourced solely in Tanzania they came up with the slogan of "Only found in Tanzania and Tiffany's"
Bet it is gorgeous!! People are so weird.
That shirt brought me joy today, bet kids got joy too. It gave you joy. Your co-worker doesn't know what they're on about. My first boss once gave a 20 minute rant that my mother needed to cut her hair because she was too old for long hair (it was just past her shoulders & looked lovely). People have weird opinions... 20 years later my mother still has long hair. I'm also wearing bright colours all the time and I have gotten a couple "aren't you a bit old" comments but most people love it.
Same in Scotland. There's also no "oh look at the beautiful colours" as the wind just tears them off the second they start to change.
Do it again. Grab a friend, beverage of your choice and have fun!
There are separate subtitles you can turn on.
Ah, okay then. I spend a lot of time around trans people, am part of multiple LGBTQ+ groups and, being nonbinary, I am myself under the trans umbrella. So, from that perspective; "most" felt applicable. People get frustrated, I'm afraid. I think using the wrong terminology and wording in your initial post put them on the defensive (I've not read the responses but I can imagine). Hope you and your friend live long happy lives, sorry some "off" words caused you to deal with a tirade.
Connective tissue disorder? (I suggest this as someone with EDS)
I feel you, love.
Ah well, I think the best thing to do in this instance is to ask your friend about it. Most trans people either always knew or had a lightbulb moment where their internal struggles suddenly make sense. But there are going to be outliers, maybe your friend is one of them. Also sorry for misunderstanding, you used male instead of man, it threw me.
If you have any questions/clarification, I'm happy to answer.
So I think you're confused as to the difference of sex (biology = male/female) & gender (social = man/woman). Your friend is biologically male but they are a woman. Also I'm NB, I'm not transitioning, I don't identify as a man nor a woman. Enby is different to man/woman or transwoman/transman. It's the middle. Also then there's hormonal sex, if your friend has transitioned with hormones then they are hormonally female. Soz, bit hard to fit this all in the comment.
One of my earliest memories was a nightmare about my gender. My nonbinary ass was nonbinary from SINCE I CAN FIRST REMEMBER. Many trans people have a moment where it all clicks and they go "ohhh fuck! I'm trans, this explains so much!" so I think I kiiinda get what you mean but their outward experience is very different to the inward one. Does that make sense?
Exactly, I live in Scotland, I know a woman who serves unseasoned mince and boiled potatoes but the majority of people I know make delicious food.
Even then a 34F from one shop is somehow different to a 34F in another. Women and other boob havers are just having a rough time....
So cosy!
Such beautiful babies!
I'm betting that the police are too busy to find the murders this week or being told to cover it up...
#8 Baby buggies and wheelchair users must risk getting hit by cars, I guess?
There's image poisoning that supposedly can help?
So SCANDALOUS /s
Also she was likely thinking "they're about to handcuff the seatbelt"
Respect street cosplayers, please
Friend could've sent it? "Yo, your dog is at maccys again"
I see the appeal in both. Sometimes you wanna dig a really big hole or build an entire corner sofa out of the rocks. Sometimes you wanna lay back and listen to the waves as you read a book.
