I don't understand the why of American cooking - it's take several packets of food, all of which would be edible on their own then mix them together with mayonnaise or whatever cool whip is. Why do that?

domestication - domestic animals have changed genetics and have adapted to live with humans and with dogs genetic changes even let them eat our food.

There are options when stressed - fight, flight (usually what a horse does) but there is also Freeze (common with anything attacked) and Fawn (act silly - lots of dogs do this say when guests come in). Tom looks like he freezes - and then it kept working for him.

Losing a dog is like no other pain, I've lost so many loved ones but somehow losing my dogs is the hardest. Not sure where you are, but it might be worth researching charity vet services or even calling rescues or shelters to see if they can help with your situation. They have vet services and transport services. You have to do everything you can for your dog, they don't deserve to suffer.

It's a mental illness attached to grief and loss - you both need professional help to get through it.

The chicken is so scared it freezes - This chicken is in the third option of fight or flight which is freeze. This is terrible for chickens, please don't do this.

Dog is looking away to politely tell her she is being too intense - dog is a saint. Look away is a calming signal in dogs.

usually if the breeder gives them enough space to move around and no one yells at them for toileting in the wrong place with people around they will learn to toilet very quickly in the right spot and even in front of people. Full bladder control takes up to 6 months but they are usually pretty good by 16 weeks

These animals are genuinely enchanting, seeing one in real life (in a sanctuary) was such a privilege! they are peak bird!

Don't do this to chickens - this is them being too terrified to move

The chickens that lay eggs are cross breeds - you don't breed them to get egg chickens, their parents are 2 separate lines.

This is a submissive grimace or smile, dog is trying to be non threatening - you can tell by the wiggling body and head turns here is another dog doing it

That particular woof sound she made is very similar to an "ALERT" "DANGER" woof - so yeah the response from the dog is understandable. I ruin dog gifs.

She doesn't need to mark you... that's why. She needs him to smell like her.

honestly I hate spiders, or at least I hate them inside where they can be on me, but because of posts like these I recognised a jumping spider in a friends office and put it outside gently. So good work I guess.

My Aussie would use both his brain cells to eat the box that the cat food is in, then eat the cat food, then eat the couch. He is the best dog.
