How would you know what ancient Latin sounded like? There hasn't been a native speaker in hundreds if not thousands of years. We have ZERO idea how they actually pronounced anything. It's all educated guesses based on Modern Latin. (This is how my Latin teacher taught about accents, she also knew ancient Greek.)
