I'm here for the gifs
I’m with you. The trend was fun for a while and I still like some citrus forward, grapefruit-esque hazy ipas. However the brewer at my favorite spot is leaning hard back into dry, hoppy, pine bombs and I’m here for it. The more sir reminds me of skunky, funky weed the better.
So it’s always been a grift, more or less?

Former enlisted. You swear an oath to uphold the constitution and defend it from threats both foreign and domestic. That includes a fascist government. If they REALLY love their country they’ll do the right thing. Unfortunately, many joined because they needed a paycheck and were going nowhere in life. Military prays on the impoverished and undereducated; aka shit schools in underfunded neighborhoods; values won’t mean as much as continuing to get paid.

After 10 years in the military (which I joined due to being out of work in the first place), I was diagnosed with a chronic medical issue that deemed me unfit for deployment/service. Discharged, lost most benefits and all the promises of how the army would “always take care of its own”. They never mentioned how quickly they’d forget you when you were useless to them. I’m doing fine, but the realization that I was nothing but a tool for some rich d-bag, really changed my outlook.
I would also be thrilled to purchase one if you have a batch made!
I blame Star Wars.
