The Oddworld paintings are spot on and I also really like your space paintings - but they're all good really.

Very good perspective and dynamism, I like it a lot.

Most people might not know where this. This is in Lisbon and the bridge in the distance is the "25 de Abril". Very nice piece @op.

Nice detailing overall but even moreso on the feathers.

/2 a mutual drive to work on specific aspects of our art, particularly things outside our comfort zone. But havent done that in some time.

Ive often wanted a mentor or something but could never find one. Ive tried doing collabs and stuff like that. It was good since there was 1/

One of the harder things is identifying what you are objectively worse at and what you can do to improve that aspect.

I think its normal for that self critique to be floating around. I am at a much more advanced spot than even 5 years ago and still feel that

Good luck with it. Do post the drawing when you eventually finish/are happy with it!

Not so good at graphite shading but all I can suggest is be patient and give it a full cover of light shading and then work on the contrasts

Yup. Sometimes I've painted over a canvas with several different ideas/compositions because I just didn't like the previous one enough.

The reflection detail, the specular highlights, all fantastic.

In a cartoon-y style, hands really aren't that bad, you can get away with inaccuracies and simple styles much more easily.

DM me if you want, can try to give some advice. Need to know what kind of level you're already at too. 140 chars makes it a pain to discuss.

Looked it up and the original series. Interesting, thanks.

You’ll have to culture me, not familiar with what you’re referencing but curious now.

Seen some of your posts before, really love pieces like this, so I followed your account. Hope to be at this level some day.

Fantastic piece. How long did it take? Also curious, was it a values study?

As a fellow artist, the support outside of friends and family means so much and it's a great thing. I wish you luck and many more followers!

Looking good so far!

Always take in-progress pics of your work inc right at the start and like someone else said, work with people you trust.

Thank you for the feedback. This is actually the most detailed eye I've done so far and I also thought could probably do with more detail.

Thank you, I appreciate that. Breads not so much, been too tired for that. Some jams and other cook-y stuff though.

Good to hear you ok, thanks for checking in. Not so good about the bot, hope it gets healed up nicely and that it's not got a major issue.

Hi @LSparkles hope you doing OK. Could you tag the post with the bot for the creations group?

Your best, so far. I really don't care about skill level. People underestimate the value of an idea. Crudeness can be improved and refined.

I don't know honestly, I appreciate the offer. Did you have something specific in mind?

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I've been drawing and painting for almost 15 years and often still trying to find my "style". What matters is that you keep making stuff.

The "3 years or so" text is almost the right size itself. Would only need to be tiny bit more than that but might still benefit from darker.
