"Fullmetal Alchemist" (2003-04) gives more justice to the early chapters, but diverges into a (inferior, from fans' opinions) plot.

The force of the kick still was sending her COM backwards. With a pivot point (ground/feet), this produced a rotational motion.

Photoshop isn't much use without a good photo to begin with. Standard contrast adjustments and sharpening works wonders, too.
