Yes, I can and do. Our boys have been best friends for 22 years (they met first day of kindergarten). I know she worries how the boys are paying for her funeral. I am there for the boys. Always. I just don't have money to fly them all to see her and cover a funeral or what to do. I'm the only "adult" they have left and wish I could say, "I got this", but I don't got this.
