Re: the woman in the comic book store: The premise of basically the whole show is that there are essentially no woman-nerds. I liked the show as a teenager, but looking back it is so incredibly stupid.The only more or less accurate stereotype in the show is people being weird and obsessed about their academic workplace, but all the nerd-stuff is so badly portrayed and gender roles are so effing entrenched
I could definitely see Scully spending all day watching out that Brooklyn Bridge does not get stolen
I mean, Hitchcock would be the most obvious choice. Basically, who in the 99 would most likely be required to prove he's actually a person. Also Scully would work quite well as Colon (even if not completely)
