What has become of Millicent Frastley?

My solar panels are 20 years old this year, and are generating 85% of what they did when new. I bet if I gave 'em a good cleaning, they'd be even better.

Don't you think that's kind of a mute point?

This is very reminiscent of a book called _Cockroach_ by Rawi Hage.

It's like the old thing of tying a string around your finger to remember something.

I had a girlfriend who used to crew ships in the North Atlantic. I once made the mistake of saying I didn't get seasick. She laughed, and said "you just mean you've never been on very rough seas."

That third kid out must be in pretty bad shape. That was horrible to watch.

Racism is like fire. There’s no point where it can stop. It always needs another victim, or it expires.

Ok, but are those bagels being made at St Viateur or Fairmont?

I'd figured if the cat was any good, it placed that S there too, so the score would be substantially higher.

Also: Nina Hagen, Ari Up, Lydia Lunch, Palmolive, arguably Chrissie Hynde, and even Belinda Carlisle when she was Dotty Danger.

Some would argue “Three Godfathers,” a western that kinda retells the story, was a good movie about the three wise men.

We are not entirely our brains. Consciousness extended in weird ways throughout our entire sympathetic and perisympathetic nervous system. Thus we are interwoven with a skeleton like a Celtic knot or something.

Please don't presume to know what I've read. Still, your logic, is ridiculous. Following your train of thought, if some Jews are zionists, all Christians and genocidal Russian-supporting maniacs and all Muslims are ISIS-supporting terrorists (not to mention Hindus being Hindutva radicals, Buddhists all being murderous supporters of the Myanmar generals, etc). It's absurd. If you could look at what you're saying analytically, you'd see it. But you're blinded by your hatred.

I'm sorry. I wasn't aware that I was speaking with the Pope of the Jews who gets to decide what elements of their religion are significant and which aren't. Your problem is that you hate Jews, so you're interpreting their religion for them, deciding what's foundational and what's not. There are literally dozens of themes within Judaism far more important than the land, which even a cursory understanding of the religion would reveal to you. But you have an agenda.

Look, I'm as atheist as the next guy, but I know a lot of Jews. And if you think they're not picking and choosing like your friends the Christians and Muslims, you are either delusional or you just hate Jews. Why don't you go ahead and admit it?

Tell me you know nothing of Judaism without saying you know nothing about Judaism.

Your sure are showing your whole ass here. The Quran says to spread the faith by the sword, but the vast majority of Muslims interpret this as metaphor. Christians accept the so-called "Old Testament" as part of their faith when it suits their agendas (e.g., condemning homosexuality) but not when it doesn't (mixing fabrics), keeping in mind Jesus either rejected the old laws (Matthew 12:8) or didn't (Matthew 5:17–20), depending on the interpretation.

So, you're cool with violence against Jews because there's a transgressive country that claims to be and act on behalf of the Jews? Does that also extend to violence against Christians being cool because Russia claims to represent Christianity and perpetrates massacres? How about Muslims because Iran claims to represent Islam? Or does this particular guilt only apply to Jews?

Skeptical about the uranium. If they were highly enriched, you wouldn’t want to store them close together like that.

And now imagine that overnight an update moved all your pots and pans around, reversed the direction of several knobs, and made it impossible to use salt without a special subscription. (I say this as a developer who was writing operating systems in the late 70s and still works as a developer).

Security conscious nations don’t let all of their top generals and political leadership gather in a single physical location for a reason.
