I just received my gifts actually ^^ The previous years didn't work but this year did :)
But if you have proof it was delivered you won't be in trouble : you can't be responsible if the delivery fails
The 1st year there wasn't enough back-up and the 2nd my SS told me he would be late so I waited and after it was too late...
around February he also told me what he wanted to get me and then I never heard about him anymore...
Not the 1st, but the second yes. He told me he would be late because shit happened (and I was completly fine with that) then ...

There is an Imgurian who organize a "no budget" Secret Santa where people send stuff to each other through email. Maybe you could join ?

Well, that's exactly what happened both last time. I was a bit disappointed but I really enjoyed crafting my gifts so it was worth it !

You decide the budget depending of what you can afford to give/create :) You give indications about your tastes when suscribing.
