I love you most of all, @danceswithcacti
I can’t imagine the hurdles dudes have to jump to not be seen as creeps. Shouldn’t have to be that way :(
As the one in the pic, I can confirm we are very together.
I’m the one in the pic. I can vouch, we’re very much together for the long haul.
Dude, yes. Scarpas are so great.
Haha yes, the newbie days are behind me. And thank you :)
I mean...it made me spend more time outside so in a way, it did kind of make me tan.
That is bonkers.
I was so bad when I started. Keep at it if you enjoy it. It’s so much fun
Hell yeah! Have a blast!
Honestly, playing a video game (Uncharted), seeing the main character climb everywhere and thinking, “that looks fun”. So I tried it!
Yay fellow climber! Couldn’t agree more :)
The goal wasn’t to increase pull-ups or muscle mass. It was a bonus side-effect of continuing to climb more.
But I am!
Nope, no CrossFit.
I accept your friendship
Climb again!
Honestly, I gained crazy strength when I started bouldering. But just climb! Focus on technique when you can. And enjoy it :)
There’s big squishy mats to fall on!
I average about 2 times a week, but try to push for 3.
Woohoo! Right on! Hope you get to go back :D
Never done it, but climbers poop into special bags I hear.
Haha! I do a lot more outdoors now- hence the tan.
Definitely diet comes into play! I was mainly on a high protein low carb diet, so I wasn’t looking to bulk.
Closest I’ve got!
I mean...you wouldn’t be wrong.
Woohoo! Right on! Very true, that!
Right on! Keep at it, and enjoy climbing when you get to it! I had zero upper body strength when I started climbing.
Right now I’m at 5.11 and v3-v4 range indoors, working on being able to finish v5/5.12’s :) outdoors I’m in the 5.10 range.
Nah I love sport climbing. I was bouldering for training, but mainly do TR/lead. And yes, I am beyond thrilled for the Olympics
