Don't tell me how to live my life! I'll write about whatever I want! Like blackjack and hookers!

Maybe they shouldn't have their fingers in people's mouths. I can't imagine a scenario where this is something someone could pursue. Like "look at that guy. I'm gonna bite his fingertips off". It's not tough to keep someone from putting your fingers in their mouth....

There are plenty of angles for this video out there. He jumped in front of the car when she started to move it, shot her, and then stepped out of the way.

I'll have to try them. I've not had the chance to try either one. I make a raspberry black currant one each summer that my SO loves to drink, but hates helping me make because I insist on going to the local you-pick place and picking it all fresh lol.

Mead has honey as a primary source of sugar by definition. What you'll like depends on your palette, and idk what's available to you. I really like most B Nektar meads if you have access to those where you are. It's made in Michigan. https://www.bnektar.com/ what they sell changes with the seasons. St. Ambrose hasn't done me wrong either: https://www.stambrose-mead-wine.com/

In general, I'd steer clear of base meads that are just fermented honey. Get something with more flavors to it.

I also make mead and I have no idea what you're talking about. It tastes like boozy juice to me. I suspect you had a bad batch(es).

I recently got an infection that I was worried might be headed towards septic. I went to the ER. They looked at it, did no tests, and prescribed me antibiotics. That bill was $950. I started to get better and then had sudden swelling, so I went back. They did an ultrasound and blood work. They told me the swelling was because I was getting better and doing more stuff rather than laying in bed. That was another $1000... at least. I might get more than 1 bill for the second. I hate it here.

As a non coffee drinker, everyone gives me shit for it and seems like an addict when I tell them I don't drink coffee. But I also see people do the same about alcohol, so I guess everybody sucks

Did you play next order? It still had some flaws, but really scratched that itch for us world 1 enjoyers and gave us access to some new digivolutions.

I mean... I understand how the things that affect me daily work, but I don't know who coined the term "human" /shrug

If you have any evidence to contradict the well-documented claim that immigrants commit crime at a lower rate than nationals, please present it

You can stamp it down when it springs up in your country to make a clear example. We're fucking up here, but the rise of fascist conservatism isn't limited to the US. It's scary that the US is doing it, but it's all the more scary that I'm not sure I can trust other countries not to follow in our footsteps.

It doesn't matter. They'll argue that the people should have overthrown hamas. I've settled on "nothing justifies genocide" and they refuse to even agree with that

It's worse than that. I know so many people who refuse to acknowledge that anything unjust is happening. They legitimately believe that the actions of Hamas justify this. No amount of discussion will change their minds.

I feel you. I've done the same. Thankfully I've always found it.

Do you need me to call it for you?

In my experience, apathy leads to people gaining a growing sense of hostility towards anything different as they age. If you make yourself comfortable change and the unfamiliar, then you avoid it. If you don't, then you start to want everything to stay familiar to you, and become aggressive about it.

My mom used to say, "wow, you've gotten fat" every time I saw her. I said, "yeah. So have you." One time and it stopped.

This one is rigged, but not like that. It adds a little bit to the timer each time the jackpot increases. You can reasonably get 4 balls per bucket. At a certain point, the time will have increased enough to give you an extra bucket or 2 and make winning possible.

It's a reference to a song from Eurovision this year I think. Not sure if that's a reference to something else before that. A word in another language sounds like "cunt", so they tried to get by the language rules with "serving cunt" (no idea if that's how it was spelled). They got disqualified if memory serves.

Actually, illegal immigrants DO pay taxes. Not always all of the same ones, but they most certainly do. Exactly what they pay depends on their specific situation. At the very least, they pay property taxes through rent payments and sales tax. In many cases, they use social security numbers of others to get employment, and pay income tax that they'll never be able to draw full benefits of because of that.

It won't happen anyway. It's easier to just pass those costs on to consumers, rather than establishing all of that manufacturing to avoid those tariffs. Until someone takes that gamble and sees any real benefit from it, nobody will need to do it to compete

That's silly. Everyone knows "vampires hate garlic" is just a lie vampires spread around because they LOVE garlic and want us to season ourselves.

Ah. So you're either not reading the entirety of results, or you're intentionally cherry-picking the data points that support your argument despite me admitting that the results were mixed (yes you're making an argument and have been. "Just asking questions" lol). In that case, enjoy disingenuously spewing into the void. Goodbye.

Also, before it gets pointed out as the low-hanging fruit that it is: I included the phD thesis because I thought it did a good job of presenting a lot of data without reading like the author had an agenda (there's a lot of that out there). It contains a good chunk of information on the subject, and plenty of its own citations. It is still a thesis rather than a direct publication, so feel free to treat it as you see fit.
