Long term, you recognize your have a problem and you have internet so you have the most power tool for dealing with that problem that the world has ever seen. Study. Practice what you study. Volunteer if you must, to get experience. Then start applying for jobs. I believe you can do it. Because I did. And I’m a loser nobody!
Been there. Two ways around it. 1. Reconnect with people who don’t drink a lot. 2. Make new friends. Both require effort. But so worth it. Find a guilty pleasure (like gaming or nerding out over something) and find communities for it. Join them and attend social events. Introduce yourself and praise people’s efforts. Set up a game/session around that activity and ask for advice, people love to give advice. Good luck!
