Not really, I own several NFA items. The effort is minimal just an extra set of paper work and a long wait time.
Be careful buying medical supplies. There are a lot of Chinese knock offs in the market. North american rescue is a solid place to buy.
NFA title 2 includes short barreled rifles and shotguns, suppressors, machine guns, destructive devices, and any other weapons.
Some states may require more but that is all that is federally required. 2/2
Not really, NFA Title 2 firearms require a $200 tax stamp and a more in depth background check. Everything else is filed on a 4473 1/2
I fully agree, I carry and it is my last resort but I also carry a full trauma care bag in my trunk and have learned how to use everything.
Generally it is call a concealed handgun permit. You don't need any permit to buy a firearm in the US (just need to pass a 4473 background)
My point of view is that a firearm is an equalizer. It can make a unfair fight fair. But it should always be a last resort.
