The early bird gets the worm, but the SECOND mouse gets the cheese. This is your public profile. Open the pod bay doors, HAL.
Agreed. The other one that crossed me up was Brand New. Their music, especially TDAGARIM was so much a part of my musical tastes when they were released. I want to listen to that music without feeling crummy about what the artists did! Of course, everywhere i go I hear Michael Jackson songs. I never enjoyed his music and can't imagine someone ignoring him while enjoying his music. I want to separate the artist from the art!!
Fair, I also haven't spent a dime on him since the stories hit, but can still enjoy the music. I have a few Cardinal LPs and the first Adams solo. This one really feels authentic. I'm torn between the version of Style here and the original. It's nice to hear an earnest attempt at imitation and artistic reimagining.

There were all in Stara Zagora. Sometime three or four machines per block

Both of them in the office right place at the right time! Good guys. What a family. Al Powell, what a guy.
Yeah, I had to look ACAB to even know what that meant. Color me confused.
Absolutely, some of these songs are VERY new to me. I think I'll spend some time on sides 1,2 and 3 before going to KIWS
This was an upgrade from the one that came with the turntable, but I think my next step would either be an ortophon or maybe one with two moving coils
I've owned it for a while, but tonight is the first time I've played it. Interesting to make a compilation LP sound like a studio release.
Yes, my bad. US 1
Ah... Ok, well currently, I am endorsing the Music Hall Sp1 that runs about $200, but plays like a $500 turntable
I do know Monk, but I don't know the Columbia sessions... I'll give them a listen
Sony has some great products, maybe just a stylus upgrade?
I came across this completely by chance. I really wasn't aware of Art before listening to this one, but I'll be on the lookout from now on.
I've always loved the mellow side of jazz. No hard bop for me. Charles Mingus, Hubert Law, and Mosbley are my favorites. This fits right in with them.
This was my introduction to Art, but I don't think it will be the last
My first Art Blakely. I'm definitely into the mellow side, no hard bop ro me. This fits all my likes.
Just an all around excellent album. The performance, the recording, the pressing are all superb!

Will do. There is a spot on her back that when scritches are given, the entire world stops spinning!
Absolutely. She knows she's cute, but she's generous with her boops to the snoot
Yeppers, she gets all the noggin pats!
I might could find three more....
You got that right. She gets out of bed in the morning and goes straight to her spot on the couch.
She's my favorite!
