There are people who bisque in this. We did not- it’s only a glaze fire. We bisqued to cone 04. The work has to be fully dry to bisque in the microwave. I have access to a full kiln so we did it that way. I totally understand wanting to try out without a big kiln though!

I used music because I swore a lot when it flamed up. I couldn’t post an image of the final pieces with the video. I did post my results as an image. Maybe ask questions instead of just being a jerk.
I was really apprehensive about it. But it really works! The kiln is a glass kiln for the microwave.

It’s a type of ceramic firing. I promise that you’ll be safe googling it! I believe it’s a Japanese style of firing.
It’s really fun! I’ve done raku off and on for 15 years- but this method’s so interesting! It can be VERY dangerous though.

It can absolutely be very dangerous if you don’t know what you’re doing!!
