The thing that makes me crazy is the claims that everyone was safer back in the good old days. I was a teen in the 80s. It was not safer in the good old days.
Yep. That's a great way to teach about MLK day (that it means that all of our friends: black and white get to be in the same class together.)
I think it should be at least required for minors who give birth, and that the state should be identifying fathers that way (it should be especially doable to identify cases of incest that way).

That's when I realized I wasn't going to just think my way out of depression, and my brain chemistry was just f-ed up.
I don't actually know that it gets easier, but you do get better at dealing with it.

Having tried (college prof) to be more flexible aboit deadlines, I had a bunch of students who just stopped doing work. Sigh.
