No in america almost all food is thrown out far before its inedible simply because those dates are there to protect the manufacturer not the seller. On the plus, side it helps to feed our massive homeless population that the government ignores through dumpster diving, so two wrongs make a disenfranchisement of a subculture I guess..
The eggs won't go bad for at least a couple of weeks. Those are definitely from different hens given the range of colors. The danger leaving the eggs in the hutch is the hens may eat them.

There's a lot of foods you eat daily that almost certainly have bugs in it. Pretty much anything that's ground up. Coffee and chocolate are kinda notorious for it.
