Hi.

I'm so sorry for your loss. My only remaining grandmother passed on October 3rd. I hadn't seen her in 7 years, but I was able to make the trip from the 29th of Sept to the 2nd of Oct. Hospice came on the 2nd and she was gone the next day. I got to share beloved memories with her and remind her how much I loved her. I resonate with your relief, and wish you peace.

When I worked at tj Maxx, part of my training included watching a video about why joining a union would be bad and I shouldn't do it. They're still paying minimum wage here in illinois ($13). My next job, also put in their handbook (illegally) that coworkers were not allowed to discuss their pay. Freaking nuts.

I was literally just explaining social conscience to my 11 year old daughter. Crazy to me that it's such a wild concept. Giving a fuck about other people. Explaining that while other people at the grocery store might not move out of the way to make room for you, doing so for them isn't weak, it's considerate and those people will sadly NEVER understand because they don't give a fuck about anyone else. Something so simple and yet it leaves such a lasting impact that affects everyone.

Low blood sugar has been proven to reduce impulsively in children (let be honest, more like EVERYONE) and sometimes that snack is desperately needed for brain fuel. Can't learn when all you can think about is your next meal/snack. My daughters teacher got very mad one day because the kids "wouldn't stop interrupting asking about snack time" so she took it away for a week. I asked her how that worked out for her and relayed that info. She quickly changed her tune since it made things worse.

I have a nephew named Aaron. It's so hard not to say "hey A-a-Ron" when I call them.

There actually is evidence of there being lifelong trauma and emotional issues associated with the pain instilled in infant circumcision.

Get a probiotic pill. Don't worry about the probiotic food for now, that can come later. Start taking a probiotic pill!

Its really not uncommon after orthodontic treatment. Some orthodontists leave it for as long as possible, others do a couple years, remove it and then have clear plastic molds/retainers made. Obviously those you have to be disciplined enough to wear regularly.

Would be weird looking and bulky for no reason. But if it was just a regular fixed lingual retainer, then a city dentist wouldn't think anything of it. It's common practice all across the US. <

Yes, a fixed lingual retainer is usually a metal bar of some sort bonded from canine to canine with polymer resin composite called "flowable". Which is also used to fill cavities. I've never seen a plastic retainer of any kind permanently fixed. Viera retainers are clear invisaligm trays that are removable and worn at night etc to maintain the shape of the teeth after they've had their position fixed. I'm wondering if this person had a Marilyn bridge retainer from canine to canine, now THAT>

Vivera retainers are literally clear plastic trays/molds made by invisalign. I work with them every single day. This guy had a permanently fixed metal lower lingual retainer that aparently is super weird. I have seen my fair share of those and work with them everyday too, but how one could be THAT weird is beyond me. I'd need to see it to know for sure.

Yank when I moved to Georgia. I can definitely say after living in Georgia, I wouldn't consider Virginia "southern" by any means.

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

THATS southern. Virginia is very "northern" compared to North/South Carolina, Tennessee/Kentucky/Goergia etc. Shit I used to get called a >

People there? Definitely not southern by most stereotypes or typical behavior of "southerners". I actually moved to Georgia in high school>

Morons? That's what we picture, and that's definitely not Virginian people lol. It may be "south" because of the Mason Dixon line, but the >

It's just not a southern state, when you think of the south what do you picture? Farmers, rednecks, southern accents, gun toting right wing>

Idk. Breastfed baby poop smells like buttered popcorn. Formula poops on the other hand, holy mother of god.

As someone who was born and raised in Virginia. We do not consider Virginia "the south". The south starts at south Carolina lol.
