To "86" something is to end it (not necessarily kill). 47 refers to Trump (he's the 45th and 47th president)
I don't disagree with what you're saying, but the more effective tactics will require broad general support. The protests, while not directly effective, are a good first step to raising awareness, showing that we are not overreacting (dispelling the gaslighting) and showing that we are not alone or in a minority. It's frustratingly slow, but so is training for a marathon. Let's get folks walking, then build up to running.
Fair enough. What do you propose?

My first car was a ‘74 X1/9. Black and loads of fun to drive. For all its bad reputation, never let me down, except for the starter. Well done, OP
Hmmm, fuck. Sorry about that. The president is fake, too, so does that kinda balance things out?
Fancy name for a writing group without a leader. Feral writers enjoying each others company
They should all be disbarred. All attorneys have a duty to the Constitution and the rule of law - even if they are just minions. These folks are violating the oath they took when they were admitted to practice law.
Well done! Keep up the good work.
I ended up managing a little casual writing group by accident. It's a collection of folks who all took an adult ed class (creative nonfiction) at the local university with one particular teacher. That teacher then ran the writing group until they decided to take some time off, so it fell to me to organize. I'm not much of a writing teacher, but I try to make it fun. Wish I could open it to more folks, but that would be a decision of the collective.
There are some graves I'm determined to piss on
Bummer
Yeah, you're gonna want to look at writing specific platforms for that kind of engagement. Good luck finding your tribe - they're out there.
So, so many. I run a pretty casual one mostly made up of folks who took a creative non-fiction class in an adult ed program at our local university and it was easier to post memes for them here rather than attaching to an email.
Post a link, I'm sure there are folks here who would be interested. Also, I just tried an experiment with having an AI analyze my writing style and it was interesting (and accurate). It was Claude (https://claude.ai/new) and took about 5 minutes to install and try out.
The Golden Ratio of Therapy. LOL
If it helps you communicate, go for it. I also share an occasional article or story with mine, if it relates to something we've discussed or will discuss. I try to keep it infrequent so as not to unfairly use their time..
I do share these with my therapist, but we've agreed up front that they are purely for fun and there are no hidden messages or "cries for help" to be read into them.
Thanks. Hope some of them give folks a chuckle - or a pause to think.

You go! Well done.

You get it. I volunteer a lot with refugees, all of whom have been through harrowing, traumatic experiences. Some learn to tell those stories, some even write beautifully about them - and it helps them heal. Those who cannot find their voice, suffer forever.
Doh! Fixed it. Thanks.
Amen.

Especially Hondas and Toyotas. My wife had a 15 year old CRV - the most boring, soulless car I've ever driven - and she refused to replace it. That car will never die. Quit changing oil and it would just laugh in your face saying "tis but a scratch". It will putter through the apocalypse and drain the spirit of whoever survives. I finally convinced my wife to get a new car, but only because the old Honda did not have a backup camera. What did she get? A new Honda CRV hybrid. Sigh.
