I work with Galgos Del Sol. We have adopted galgos to Finland several times :-)

That is rather uncommon for a sighthound. They are usually really lazy sprinters, not marathon runners

Get another galgo asap! It’s the best way to get over a loss

But do you hate it when the changed color leaves?

Yes. And the common title for them are “galgueros”. Try google it, but prepare tissues.

greyhounds, whippets and even border collies and such, almost all of them are purebred galgos. They only breed on the fastest of them.

Most of the galgueros in Spain are regular country people and not pikeys. Even though they have experimented crossbreeding galgos with

Trust me on this. They are galgos. I have 15 years of experience with sighthounds of all kinds, and I can tell them apart.

are abandoned to die by their owners (look up the galgo espanol breed). The hounds chase what is set free to be hunted. Cruel for the prey.

These are hares that are set free to be hunted, not hares living in the wild. What you see are a sick game for humans, not “nature”.

lot of the dogs endure. A lot ends up discarded and put up for adoption as “retired racers” when they are no good anymore or injured.

Coursing with live hares are simply cruel to the hares as they barely stand a chance. Racing should be illegal because of the conditions a

With racing and coursing, you will always have tons of “retired racers” up for adoption. If you get an animal, you get it for life.

are injured. Then they leave them for adoption and simply get new dogs.

Because people are people. A lot of the owners doesn’t care about their greyhounds anymore when they are not good racers anymore, or if they

For great reasons. Now please ban greyhound racing. Greyhound are pets. Not bets.

Galgo Espanols.

Not catching the hare like in this video will bring down rough punishment to them.

Not greyhounds. They are Galgo Espanols - the most mistreated dogs in the world. Hunters (galgueros) discard around 100.000 a year.
