Chantix is the devil. First night on it I had a nightmare so bad I woke up crying to my wife thinking that I had just strangled my son's 6-year old friend and tried to bury the body in the woods. 2nd night on Chantix, I had a nightmare that someone was breaking into my house and shot me in the stomach, then my neighbor shot the burglar dead. I woke up swinging. That was the last night on it. 21mg nicotine patches everyday for 3 months and the cravings were gone. 5 years later, still off cigs.

I left with my wife and kids in Oct. 2025, during the shutdown. Wife is Polish, kids got citizenship very easily. I am going through immigration and can't work yet. We pulled our 401K funds, drained our bank accounts and got the fuck out of the US. I'm very sad about not being able to see friends and family unless they come to me (if they can leave), but I'm not stepping foot on US soil until the Trump administration is either behind bars or swinging from the gallows.
I turn the power down and just step back. I use it on my BBQ if I don't have lighter fluid and my Match Light is old.

Wow, my mom's cremation was $1,500 & the wooden box cost another $50. I went for the cheapest, was still expensive for me.
She gave til it hurt, then gave some more. I miss her so much.

Family is reluctant to come because of the pandemic. She's cremated, ashes in a box in my closet. My sister and I really need closure, (2/?)
I wish I could have a proper funeral for my mom. Her funeral is next Tuesday. She died in April, complications from Covid-19. (1/?)
