This was a great post. I'm not sure it will ease my sadness, but it gives it some meaning. Thanks.
After smoking for 26 years I quit in 1998. It took me about a year to get to the point where I could do a slow jog for over 10 minutes. Keep it up. It gets better. I'm in my mid 70s now and miss jogging terribly. At about 68 my hip told me to stop. I walk now.

The pupper survived but the pigmy goat did not. We learned a lot of lessons after than. I know they hate coyotes.
I think change requires a significant emotional event in ones life.
My donkey did this to our Basset hound and a small goat. Not as funny as it sounds.

I agree with you 100%. I was simply trying to add a little humor to the situation. I think it's a crime what the US is doing to Canada. I'm in Michigan and we need Canada.

#5 - you can die from something like that. positional asphyxiation I think it's called. And #9 is close to that spot on the neck where you can get an injury that is incompatible with life.
Same here. I went to Autozone and bought a telescoping lug wrench. Amazon has them for about $10. They give you better torque to get the lug nuts off. I keep one in the car all the time now.
Parrots are so goofy. Almost like they have a sense of humor.
I would guess that most old guys like me carry this stuff. We have been there, and done that.
That was fast work. It really helps to have the right tools. In most cases you can't get the lug nuts off with the tools that came with the car. You need breaker bars to do that.
