I can assure you, as horrifying as that sounds, it is absolutely the truth. The robot is going to a pre-programmed point. If you're bigger than the space between it and that point... What is far more unnerving is the speed at which they can move. Most have a speed limit of 2-4m per second and can get up to that speed from a dead stop in an alarmingly quick. By the time you realize what you heard was the brakes disengaging... too late.

People have can be really cavalier about the very real dangers of industrial robots. They end up defeating a safeguard and get themselves or someone else injured or killed.

Definitely correct, but they have to be properly set up by the integrator. There is collision guard on the non-cobots, but by the time that kicks in it's normally way beyond the amount of force required to hurt or kill someone.

It's the salt. Rinse it gently with distilled water and you should be good to go once it dries out again.

Definitely this. A dog can get a lot of momentum in 6 or 8 ft let alone 25.

I thought I was the only one. I had to stop and go back to the beginning three times to make sure I was correctly understanding what was going on.

I just don't understand on any level why it would be anyone's employers business what they do in their personal time as long as it's legal.
